What We Did
Bookworm Café came to Robintek as a new restaurant concept from Chef Aaron Hagerdorn, uniting his family’s love of good food and good books. As a brand-new venture, they were starting from scratch with their online presence. Our client needed an engaging website that attracted customers and reflected their mission of creating a local community gathering space in their neighborhood of Rogers, Minnesota.
To start, we designed a logo to match Bookworm Café’s unique identity. From there, we created a custom website design and original content to best match their vision. The result? A fun, informative website that aligns with their brand and showcases their delicious artisan menu.

We started our logo design process with a conversation with the client to understand their vision. Then, we produced several drafts so they could select the imagery they preferred. From there, we designed the final logo to align with their book-loving brand personality.

With the new logo and clear branding vision, we designed the Bookworm Café website to match their aesthetic. Our designers used a mobile-responsive layout to ensure that the site displays beautifully on any device. That way, users on the go can easily pull up their menu, find their contact information, and order gift cards through the site.
Content creation to engage visitors
To best communicate their story, Robintek wrote and curated content for their new website. We took existing content and reworked it to fit the design, editing and streamlining the text for clarity and conciseness. Plus, we created original content throughout the site as needed to emphasize their message.

We created catering and contact forms for Bookworm Café so customers can get easily reach out to them directly on the site. Each form was built with custom fields so our client can get all the information they need up front.
About the Client
After a series of high-profile positions with worldwide hotel chains and the Minnesota Vikings, Chef Hagerdorn and his family decided to open Bookworm Café. A cross between a free library and local café, they hope to connect with their community through creative dishes, freshly roasted coffee, and well-loved stories.
Located just outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Bookworm Café offers breakfast and lunch menus, as well as baked goods, local coffee and espresso, and grab-and-go fare. With their passion for food, books, and community, Bookworm Café is destined to become the local neighborhood gathering hub.
