To Our Valued Clients,
The following is an important announcement regarding your domain:

There is an important change coming after June 23rd, 2015.

The program being enacted is called the Whois Accuracy Program. This is not optional and all ICANN Registrars are or will be subject to it.

It means that you, the domain registrant will need to start “confirming” your domain registration details by following a link that is emailed to you at certain times within your domain’s life cycle.

Most importantly: failure to comply with a request to verify your contact details under the Whois Accuracy Program will cause your domain to be suspended and to cease resolving on the internet.

This program is in a word: terrible. And it’s rife for abuse. One provider explained the program in detail in the post: “Unfortunately, we have renewed our ICANN accreditation”, which you need to read and understand well ahead of the implementation date.

Many Robintek customers rely on us to manage their domain name; keeping it renewed and handling issues like this. For those customers nothing will change. If Robintek is listed as the owner of the domain name we will manage these Whois accuracy requests. Any customer managing their own domain name will have to pay special attention to those email requests to ensure that there is no interruption of service.

If you have any questions concerning this notice, please email us at info@robintek.com or call 614-888-3001.

Thank you,
The Robintek Team
