What We Did
Public facing site:
The new design for area7workforce.org was designed to be streamlined and modern, incorporating the branding elements of the Area 7 Workforce Development Board, while enhancing the design and layout for a better user experience. The large main image and text speaks to the important work that the Area 7 Workforce Development Board does and serves as a strong introduction to the website. The two linked areas below the main image lead users directly to the two main components of the website, the Ohio Means Jobs Center Locator and the Staff Login page.
These two areas are designed to help users easily navigate to the areas of the site they need quickly. The connect with us area links to the social media presence for the Area 7 Workforce Development Board and the footer includes important content information as well as quick links for easy navigation by users. This visual update brings the website inline with the Area 7 Workforce Development Board’s brand including colors and style and creates a strong visual hierarchy to help with ease of navigation. We believe this update will benefit both user experience and brand identity.
Staff & Board Member Site:
The Staff/Board site for staff.area7workforce.org was designed to simplify the user experience and bring the layout and design in line with the Area 7 Workforce Development Board’s current branding. This landing page includes clear top navigation as well as large linked areas to the main areas of the site. Using these large graphic elements helps users find the information they need quickly.
Below the large graphic buttons we’ve included a news and updates area where the most updated information for staff and board members can be posted and easily found. The connect with us section includes links to social media platforms. Finally, the footer includes important contact and link information.

This website was created using the WordPress platform, which includes an easy-to-use Content Management System and an abundance of opportunities for growth and expansion.

This site includes a custom staff login. This allows registered users to login for employee related items and allows new users to register easily.
