Before we dive into the festivities, we wanted to inform you that Robintek will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, in observance of Independence Day. Our dedicated team will be taking the day off to enjoy quality time with their loved ones, reflect on our nation’s history, and recharge for the work that lies ahead. Westerville’s 4th of July Celebrations
While our office is closed, we encourage you to join in the exciting festivities happening in Westerville. The city has planned a fantastic lineup of events and activities for Independence Day. Here’s what you can expect:
10:30 a.m. – Parade Begins:
Start the day off by witnessing the vibrant parade through Uptown Westerville. The parade route begins at St. Paul Catholic Church, heading south on State Street to Electric Avenue. It’s an excellent opportunity to embrace the community spirit and patriotic atmosphere.
4 p.m. – Programming Begins at the Westerville Sports Complex:
Head over to the Westerville Sports Complex (325 N. Cleveland Ave.) in the afternoon to immerse yourself in a world of entertainment and family-friendly fun. The programming kicks off at 4 p.m., ensuring an exciting atmosphere for all attendees.
5 p.m. – Food Trucks, Concert Series, and Free Fun Zone:
Indulge your taste buds with delicious fare from a variety of food trucks. The concert series will keep you entertained with lively performances. Don’t miss the free “Fun Zone” where performers in patriotic attire will entertain you, and you can engage in thrilling activities such as the bungee run, Hungry Hippos game, baseball pitch game, and even experience a giant inflatable slide!
10 p.m. – Spectacular Fireworks Show:
Prepare to be dazzled as the professional fireworks show lights up the sky, providing a grand finale to the day’s celebrations. The recommended viewing area is the Westerville Sports Complex (325 N. Cleveland Ave.), where you can witness the awe-inspiring display.
Fireworks Location:
The fireworks will be set off at Heritage Park, which will close at 7 a.m. on July 4th in preparation for the event. This ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
