What is National Dog Day?
A day to celebrate and bring awareness to our canine companions
National Dog Day is an annual celebration of all dogs. Whether pure or mixed-breed they bring us joy, companionship and so much more. Today we recognize all the contributions dogs bring to our world. Family dogs bring friendship and comfort. Working dogs serve in many ways from assisting individuals with disabilities to helping us with our jobs. Dogs even put their lives on the line for us working as protectors and rescuers. What would we do without them?

Awareness and Adoption
Beyond being a celebration, National Dog day aims to bring awareness to the fact that so many dogs are currently in shelters and need to be adopted. Interested in owning a dog? You can help give an incredible dog a loving home. Robintek encourages you to consider adoption from a shelter or rescue.
