Wesley Ridge opened with Assisted Living in 1998 with 136 licensed residential care beds: Bishop Place having 65 studio and 1-bedroom apartments and 40 studio apartments in Memory Care (now named English Garden) making it one of the first assisted living facilities on the east side of Columbus. Wesley Ridge separated itself from others by offering 24 hour nursing, caregiving and receptionists and offering a variety of services that allowed residents of different care needs to pay for only those services needed or wanted. The program is designed to maximize quality of life by assisting with activities of daily living (ADL’s) while allowing independence and choice.
